Countdown to Christmas...and on line shopping!

I recently installed a Javascript Countdown to Christmas clock on a few of my Web sites and checking the days left this morning I was shocked to see the message said ...only 42 days till Christmas! I'd promised myself that THIS year I was going to be organised and get my Christmas shopping done sooner rather than later - it really is time to start thinking NOW and making lists of what to buy! Although I've lived in Italy since 1994 I still have a lot of family and friends back in the UK so inevitably I do most of my birthday and festive gift buying on line. It's logistically so much easier – hours and hours queuing at the post office to send packages is no fun, and almost all Internet stores provide gift wrap services too nowadays. Anyway, I mention this because I've just discovered a website that makes it even more worth while to do my Christmas shopping on the Web – Coupon Chief - a constantly updated resource which gathers all the very best coupon deals and discounts available on the Internet in one place. A great idea and a timely discovery – they even have an email sign up so you can get coupons and money-off deals delivered straight to your in box. Obviously Christmas is a busy time for on line merchants but Coupon Chief is one to watch all year round. Personally, I'll be keeping a close eye on the travel discounts page and I also spotted some great deals in language learning software too.
